The W3GV clubhouse lost it’s power and internet after a storm produced 45-50 mph gusts. It took out a tree, approximately 50 ft tall, near the clubhouse. The tree, about 8 inches in diameter, missed the 80ft tower guy wire by 2 inches and fell within 1 ft of the radio igloo. Unfortunately, it pulled the power line off a pole and broke the neutral conductor. The Spectrum line was pulled down and internet box was ripped off the wall. Penelec and Spectrum made the storm damaged repairs the next day and even credit us for the down time.
